Recovering Moore Resource Center

In Service to Moore County

To better serve the recovery communities in Moore County, Samaritan Colony, Pilgrim's Progress, and The Sandhills Opioid Response Consortium have collaborated to create the Recovering Moore Resource Center (RMRC).

Located at 205 Knight Street in Aberdeen, NC, the RMRC will serve as a drop-in resource center to address the urgent need for recovery services in Moore County.

Staffed by peer support specialists from Samaritan Colony and the Sandhills Opioid Response Consortium, the RMRC will provide navigational services for anyone in the community seeking help for issues related to drug or alcohol addiction and for people in recovery. Services available include mindful meditation classes and 12-step recovery meetings, including those undergoing medically assisted treatment.

Samaritan Colony, Pilgrim's Progress, and Sandhills Opioid Response Consortium have a long-standing, synergistic relationship focused on delivering services to individuals in Moore County diagnosed with substance use disorders.
