Are you ready to be a part of something bigger than yourself?
For as little as $25 a month you can join Samaritan Colony’s Monthly Sustainer program. By becoming a monthly donor, you will help us deliver life-saving treatment and change lives.
At Samaritan Colony, no one is ever turned away due to a lack of funds. All that is required is the willingness to make the necessary life changes to live a life recovery.
Since 1975, Samaritan Colony has provided residential treatment and aftercare counseling services for over 5000 men and their families. Please join us and become part of something bigger than yourself.
One way of supporting the work of Samaritan Colony is to create a scholarship in the name of a family member, friend, or loved one.
As part of our Changing Lives Campaign Samaritan Colony has created the opportunity for our supporters to honor someone special in their lives by having a treatment scholarship designated in their name. Treatment scholarships are used for individuals who come to Samaritan Colony seeking treatment for substance use disorder.
The cost of treatment for one individual for our 28-day program is $3,500. Individuals interested can designate their scholarships for one or more individuals seeking treatment. They can specify if they have a preference that the scholarship be used for a man or woman (when our women’s treatment facility is fully operational).
At Samaritan Colony, no one is ever turned away due to a lack of funds; however, treatment in our 28-day residential program is not free. During the initial intake process, if it is determined that an individual is a candidate for a treatment scholarship, that option is discussed with the client, including the origins of the scholarship.
One of the requirements for scholarship recipients is to write a letter to the family or individual who created the scholarship they benefitted from upon completion of their treatment.
Samaritan Colony will acknowledge treatment scholarships made in honor of an individual or family on our website and social media. Plans are currently underway to incorporate public recognition on our campus in Rockingham.
