50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Samaritan Colony celebrates 50 years of helping people
Since 1975, Samaritan Colony has provided underserved communities across the Sandhills with life-saving treatment for men struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
While growing organically over the last 50 years, our treatment services have expanded.
The Recovering Moore Resource Center in downtown Aberdeen is a free, walk-in resource center located at 205 Knight Street Aberdeen. It is available to anyone looking for help with issues related to drug or alcohol addiction.
We also provide aftercare services for program graduates through our recovery home housing program. This allows our clients to continue their treatment at a lower level of care and experience independent living with our oversight.
With the SECU Women’s Recovery Center opening at Samaritan Colony later this spring, Samaritan Colony will utilize the same evidence-based treatment methods successfully used for men for the last 50 years.
We invite you to enjoy the following videos. We start with the history of Samaritan Colony and move into hearing inspiring stories of recovery from our clients.
